As someone who is a keeper of water, the sound of it constantly moving is comforting. To be consistently enveloped with the noise, Rin has immense difficulty with silence. Remaining in prolonged quiet makes them very uncomfortable, and during the lapses in sound they will do whatever they can to fill it.
It could be as simple as drumming their claws against something or shifting to hear the rustle of fabric, or playing music. Rin finds they cannot think clearly in the quiet, and they do their best work when there is a steady stream of background noise.
They're aware that some can find their need for constant sound to be overwhelming, and will do what they can to accommodate as much as they can by dialling down the amount of noise.

Rin, stone cold, callous, abrupt, and occasionally mean. He loves the cold and his eyes are icy white due to the cold weather he is in. His eyes make him even more intimidating. Everyone thinks he some sort of ghost demon and some dragons believe he is, he even does.
