Narona is charge of freshwater supplies to Waterborne.

While Dexamene is responsible for the sewers and ensuring that wastewater reaches its treatment facility, Narona is the dragon responsible for filtering water from the Sea of a Thousand Currents and ensuring that it reaches the town in the first place. She works in a team of three. The Serthis team leader receives information from the city on water usage and plans (and records) water input into the city accordingly. The Maren team member monitors the effect of the water intake into the city on the the environment, and is the most technologically skilled of the three of them, responsible for maintaining the many machines and failsafes designed to ensure that clean water flows into the city, without the need for the eam to always work long hours or remain overnight. Narona is responsible for the (magical) heavy lifting, filtering water and subsequently drawing it into the city's plumbing system. Left to work independently, and trusted by the Waterborne authorities, the team is very close-knit. They keep a garden of mussels to filter the water (but mostly to serve as snacks lest they overrun the place to which they were introduced). Despite her fondness for mysterious attire, Narona is a very down-to-earth dragon. She is currently engaged to Eyvik; the two intend to marry during the month of the Icewarden. |
