Wandering through the site's numerous and winding hallways, you hear a faint, low buzzing noise reverberating throughout the halls. While searching for it's source, you spot a faint glow coming from a large metal door. Upon closer inspection you notice that it is slightly ajar and decide to take a peek through the gap, revealing a surprisingly spacious area with large machines clustered together, occupying the whole space. It looks like a scene more befitting of a large industrial factory rather than a busy modern laboratory.
Before you can step in however, a small voice yells out and tells you to stop. You turn towards the direction the sound came from but are greeted with nothing but a pile of wires. You wonder if being in the lab has driven you a little mad until one of the wires scuttles over to you. Only then when you see its face do you realize that the wire is actually a spiral, whose obsidian coloration makes it very easy to mistake for a stray wire.
"Hey, you! You're not allowed to be here! It's dangerous... the generators in this room aren't grounded-if you aren't careful, you'll be walking out in a canopic jar..." the spiral trails out. They squint their eyes in suspicion before speaking again. "Where is your guide? Visitors are not allowed to wander on their own." Before you can think up a reply, they wave a hand in the air nonchalantly. "You know what, no worries. I'll just escort you. I'm heading to the main lab anyways, your guide is probably there. Follow me please, and don't touch me! I'm not grounded either." You quizzically ponder the last phrase, and quickly realize what they mean once they weave around you. A strong electrical aura emanates from them, making your scales stand on their ends. You mentally note to keep your distance before following them to relative safety.

Fissure is a spiral with an interesting trait- unlike most dragons, who are only capable of handling electricity relative to their body sizes, Fissure is conductive, and has the ability to withstand and store a large amount of electricity within its body. However, it is not good at retaining this electricity, and most of it escapes its body in the form of static electricity.
This trait makes them the perfect candidate for tasks regarding the site's massive generators, which are purposefully not grounded to capitalize on sudden, and often massive power spikes.
