Fluted Seashell 		They lived in the deep ocean and were at the top of the food chain along with other deep sea behemoths. They enjoyed sinking and raiding ships and stealing things from them, but one day they raided the wrong ship...
That ship was The Tsunami, run by the cutthroat guardian known as Captain Wake, and she and her crew were stronger and more formidable than some sailors who didn't value their cargo more than their lives.
Wake kicked their butt but was impressed by their fire and liked the cut of their jib, and offered them a place on her ship as a part of her crew.
Enoch, looking for a change in their life, took her up on the offer, and now works alongside the crew as another voyager.
Life on The Tsunami got a lot more interesting when Enoch encountered a hatchling dashed against the waves while they were out diving. The crew assumed that the baby mirror (named "Fish" by Enoch) was a survivor of an attempted infanticide, and didn't think much about it when taking him in. Only Enoch could sense what the hatchling truly was, a fellow deep one, yet to mature and warp beyond recognition. They keep this knowledge to themself, though, fearing what may happen should the crew discover this.
