The intertwined beasts of the south, Sleipnir and Vargr, have always been at odds. Their differences have always been too great, despite their shared curse binding them together; every meeting has been a careful dance of resentment and curiosity. Their children together were a great experiment between the two, and their children have always suffered from it. Under a full September moon, a single egg begins to crack. The beasts that sired the egg are lone gone, having abandoned their nest in favor of following migrating elk. A snout pokes out of the shell, and then a second snout; the egg continues to crack, until the twins come slithering out, tired and newly hatched. They look with pale eyes around the dark, quiet forest, but there is no beast in sight, so they look upon the stars. The twins imprint upon the cosmos, following the movement of the night sky as they climb to unsteady feet and leave their nest behind.

Before all else they knew the moon was beautiful. Every dawn they mourned it's loss, and every night they lost themself in it's glory. The moon they were born under guided them every night and day, a ceaseless pull on their spine. Often they wondered if it gazed back, if it felt the same calm joy at the sight of them below. Everything else felt so distant and unimportant in comparison to such a beautiful sight.
WIP
-He gets kidnapped by someone who tricked him using his love for the moon
-They try to sacrfice him to a demon for power, but are stopped by Zachariah
-He takes the child with him to the cathedral, where he comfirms their curse and, since there are already so many cursed children here, decides to teach Aquarius to deal with their curse.
-barghest angst ensues, they eventually find good friends in the other children.
