Having cheated his way to the last round of the competition, Reigen finds himself face to face with Sans, who got there by doing literally nothing. Although Reigen has an early lead, he decides if he wants to cinch this, he's going to have to collude with his competition. He's surprised when Sans, who was entered in the contest unwittingly by his brother (he didn't know what the competition was for) is glad to help him win free of charge. They both run a series of debates where Reigen dismantles Sans by proving how utterly unattractive he is. As the debates continue, Reign puts on boy-band-style makeup and works out to become extra attractive. However, mysteriously, Sans's vote only seems to be increasing despite this. Sans mentions that Reigen forgot that being unattractive is one of the key tenets of becoming a popular guy on tumblr.
Emotionally crushed that he possibly ever wasn't actually attractive at all, Reign considers falling out of the competition. However, he's cheered up by Mob, who says that Reigen should to remember what he taught him: He should have confidence regardless of what anyone thinks of him.
On the final day of the campaign, Reigen shows up with rings under his eyes, a five-o-clock-shadow, and a dad bod. Without saying anything, he takes out a sandwich on stage and stuffs it into his mouth. He follows up with his "special attack," putting his fingers in his mouth like that one picture of Peter from Spiderverse. The audience cheers, and Reign's polling makes a massive comeback.
In the end. the results are revealed.
Sans won by a single vote.
Reigen can't believe it. One vote!? How could he lose by ONE VOTE!? Even that stupid skeleton voted for him!
Mob shows up and says offhand that since tumblr sexymen are unattractive, he wanted Reigen to have self-confidence. not rely on what other people think of him. Therefore he voted for Sans. Reigen doesn't know how to feel about this.

... On August 30th a twitter poll was posted by @lgbtbeam. It was a poll featuring male anime characters in a competition for the title of the best twink. The poll was called The Great Anime Twink-Off. Characters that were contending in this poll were Light from Death Note, Kurapika form HunterxHunter, and Reigen from Mob Psycho 100. |

... Another poll was held on September 4th. The twitter user @denjictrl posted a poll of assorted anime boy called The Anime Dilf-Off. Contenders were assorted anime men and once again had Reigen as a contender. The final round came down to Reigen vs Sakata and on September 6th Reigen was now crowned Best Anime Dilf and Greatest Twink.
... Once more, another twitter poll was created. On September 5th The Tumblr Sexy Men Showdown began. It was held by @sexymanOTD, a twitter account dedicated to tumblr sexy men/women characters. Many classic characters were in this poll such as The Once-ler, Purple Guy, Wheatley, Benery, and (once again) Reigen. In the semifinals it was down to Sans, Bill Cipher, Ingo, and Reigen, with Sans and Reigen making it to the finals. Reigen had a strong start in the final round with Sans, but people quickly starting to boost Sans vote and started the #SANSSWEEP. Once the poll was closed the vote claimed Sans the champion by one single point, breaking Reigen streak, taking the name of Tumblr’s Sexiest of Men!
... With Tumblr in shambles and Twitter on fire, people reminiscing of a simulator chaotic event back in November 5th, 2020. History may not repeat itself, but it sure does rime, and no one was prepared for what was going to come next...

I know that the dragon was born on the September 8th and not the 7th, but it the internet was really a mess that day so I felt like it was the only fitting to have it be on 8th. Hope you all enjoyed him because I sure did... Happy 8th!! #SANSSWEEP #REIGENSWEEP #RIPBOZO |
