Polaris

you walk back along the tunnel, marveling at the glowing jewels embedded in the walls. you remember what Mystrill said about "getting Polaris his own room" and make your way to the guest rooms. you walk along the long hallway, sneaking glances into each room you pass. Eventually, you come to one littered with boxes of books and papers strewn about. sitting in the middle of the chaos, writing on a long scroll with his claw, is a smallish grey, black and white imperial with a look of concentration on his snout. he mutters to himself as he works and you manage to catch a few snatches of what he is saying. "the battle was fought through the night....no, no that's not right...was raged? raged through the night! much better...." he says ,and ,with quick scratches, scribbles a few more words onto the parchment. you see how close to tearing it is and realize just How genius colddemon's invention truly is. you cough to get his attention but he doesn't seem to hear you. you cough again and this time he raises his head and looks at you "oh, hello. I didn't hear you come in, sorry!" he says, standing up and nudging the scroll (the one he was just working on) behind him. "do you need anything?" you nod and explain what Colddemon gave you and hold it out. His eyes light up and a small smile creeps onto his snout "Thank you! you don't know how much time this will save me" he says profusely. he grabs a random scroll from behind him and test it out. it glides smoothly across the blank parchment and words appear in its wake
Thank you it reads and you smile at him. he nods to you and goes back to his writing. you step out of the cave and walk along the tunnel, wandering aimlessly. suddenly you are snapped from your thoughts by little fireflies flying along the cave.
