A Nervous Accountant
Hello. Hmmm. Yes. This is a documentation about my life that I have to write. It's supposed to help with the time lapse. I'm not sure how it'll help but okay. Here we go!
I was born somewhere in the arcane region. My parents were typical Arcanites, always putting magical experiments over safety. I left with a charred haunch and a practical appreciation for safety regulations. Luckily, this clan also places importance on safety, or at least on following proper procedure to ensure the safety of the experiments. Unluckily, my mate worked in the Coliseum. The first time she left, she was gone for 16 days and came home with a broken tail. It was a minor stress fracture from using it as a Wartoad leash, but it was the worst day of my life. I asked her to retire, to quit working the at coliseum, and to my absolute astonishment she acquiesced. She said she would rather play with me, than play with harpies. And I . . . uh agreed to that. . . and uhm now she and I are . . . good. Anyway, she was no longer risks her life for the clan, well she wasn't until the Time Lapse. Now she is in the exploration team scouting out our new dangerous terrain. I am stuck here cataloging our resources and doling out gold when we have need for trade. I just want to go home. |
