Biography
Sett, Kitsune of the Shadowed Sun
Sett's parents were ancient progenitors to the Gods of Chaos, of which Sett hails from as well. However, long ago the Gods of Chaos and the other deities incited a war upon each other to restore peace and balance to the world they had long since ruled over. The opposing forces caused a calamity of natural disasters to strike the planet, and the Chaotic Divinities had no other choice than to be put down, for their numbers were far outrivaled by the other Gods and Goddesses.
But, Sett's parents would not leave this realm without a seed of hope. That hope came in the form of a small, glimmering Light egg. They blessed their final nest, in hopes that their heirs could once again rise to the status of a God. They would embody Chaos, as it burned in their blood, and yet, they would have no other influence. The morality of the hatchling would be determined only by the influence that the real world around them provided.
In their desire to one day return to the Realm of Mortality, via their blood relation to their child, they appointed Sashura as a guard to their temple and the nest of their final hatchlings. Though, the nest would not be allowed to hatch so soon. It was to remain hidden as long as possible, biding time for the war to pass and the world to settle once more; building magic and power each day as the remnants from the temple of Gods seeped into the glowing eggs. Sashura remained a stone sentry for many a century, endlessly loyal to the Gods that had granted her so much.
Unfortunately, without blood and flesh parents, the nest was unable to thrive. One by one, the lights of the eggs blinked out, not strong enough to rise to fruition. One single egg remained.
Sett was born the day of a Solar Eclipse, filled with the magic of his parents and that of his nest mates. He came into this world alone, but not for long. Sashura broke free from her stone case just shortly after she sensed the lonely little hatchling, vowing her life to the young God.
Sett's birth was a surprise to the Deities that had remained in place for centuries. Commotion stirred in the Realm of the Heavens, where the Gods and Goddesses convened. Several claimed Sett was harmless, only a fragment of his parents' prowess and status, yet others feared he would become just as monstrous. There would come a time where attempts on Sett's life would become too frequent, but Sett stared into the faces of Death and Life all the same.
He would become whatever he wanted, not what anyone else wanted him to be.
