Ruru

Ruru grew up in The Shifting Expanse, and lived there with his family until he was old enough to journey out on his own. He was sent out to hunt for his family, but he had far to go. Ruru wandered far into Highland Scrub, and then continued to Carrion Canyon. There, he stopped when he heard a screech. A creature that he had never seen before appeared in front of Ruru.

The unbelievable beast launched itself towards Ruru, snapping at his neck. Luckily, Ruru dodged just in time. No doubt, this creature wanted a fight, an opportunity Ruru would not let pass. Imagine if he could take this beast down and drag home. He would get respect and maybe even the become the leader of his clan.

Ruru grinned, flared up his wings and screeched at the beast. "Oh you want a fight? Well come get me then!" he shrieked. The beast growled, and once again launched towards Ruru. Again Ruru dodged. Ruru used his speed to lure it, and managed to get it charging straight into a large rock, head first.

He then took the chance and pounced at the beast's neck, slashing at it with his claws. After some struggling, the monster finally stopped fighting back. Ruru screeched loudly to advertise his victory. Now, the only problem were, how would he get this back to the lair? Ruru thought for a while. He saw a Ridgeback flying above him. As a very big species of dragon, this Ridgeback would have no problem carrying the beast back to Ruru's lair.

"Uhh excuse me! You, Ridgeback! Could you kindly help me carry this back to my lair?" he asked. The Ridgeback glared at him. "Now, why would I help you, little Wildclaw, hm? It's not like you killed that beast, I am not helping a carrion eater, that stuff is yucky" it said and turned around, getting ready to take off again. "Well, uh, wait!" Ruru said. "If you help me get this back to my lair, I can help you to fish! I know you Ridgebacks hate getting wet." The Ridgeback stopped, and turned back to Ruru.

"Now, would you really? That would be kind of you" it answered. Ruru got the Ridgeback to agree, and it helped him carry the carcass back to the lair. After the Ridgeback had left, Ruru called out his clan. His family stopped right in their tracks when they saw the fallen prey. Ruru explained what happened, and as power is might among Wildclaws, his parents awarded him with his armor and satchels, saying that they were proud of him.

Months later, Ruru said goodbye to his clan and ventured out to never return to The Shifting Expanse. He wandered north and got to the Sunbeam Ruins, where he met his true love, Sunshine, during a hunt. Sunshine was a beautiful Wildclaw, and she was perfect for Ruru. Sunshine and Ruru began to travel together, and after finding a forever home, they had 3 eggs.

From those eggs, 3 small little Wildclaws hatched. Yin, Yan and Yona.
