Biography
Lifted from Prince Tari (Sagittarius)
MerlinEmrys' Lair
I took to the seas for a long while after my time on the glacier, with my familiar, Algae, by my side. We drifted and swam for what felt like days, until we found ourselves on the other side of the world.
The water felt warmer in these parts, compared to the frigid ocean around the Southern Icefield. I found delicious seagrass in abundance to feed us both, and the water tasted sweet and salty, rich with the earth and plants it carried.
We emerged on the fringes of the Worldedge Wetlands, where we followed the scents and sounds of dragons to a clan who seemed no stranger to travellers. The vibrant thunder of allies was filled with dragons of all creeds and colours, from every corner of the map.
I found companionship in an Aberration named Regina. She reminded me of my old friend, Oracle, and my home back in the manor.
She had some small distaste for most hatchlings, but clearly felt affinity for her own clutch, though her partner, Onyx, seemed to take the reigns more when it came to their care.
This little family of dragons within their much larger community reminded me of my own hatchlings, exalted to the Eleven, who I would likely never see again. I could never replace them, of course, but I longed for more family of my own.
The loneliness swirled within me, feeling like a vice around my scales. Slowly but surely, my colours began to change. My grief showing in beautiful, swirling patterns of cream and umber.
Primary Gene: Boa (Undertide)
Algae seemed excited about our newfound similarity, and I shared in his joy, but I wished for more offspring of my own, and new company to share in.
Much as they tried, nobody in this clan could truly understand the pride and sorrow I felt for my exalted clutch. Perhaps, with a little more travel, I'll find somebody who can.
