Biography
Flirtatious | Charismatic | Tasteful
Hallow hummed as he traveled through the fields of flame-flourishing flowers, picking up certain ones and placing them gently in a sling he had draped over his side. He felt at peace, no need to make jokes or make people laugh or try and make others understand him, just him and nature. He let out a sigh, slowly spinning a flower between two claws. The petals were deep red, and he smiled at the thorns that littered the stem. He stripped it of the thorns and bit it lightly, holding it in his mouth as he continued gathering. He had an eye for gathering items, making sure to not grab anything useless. Hallow had a quick memory from his childhood, where he had been caught by the other males picking flowers and making them into crowns. He had been teased, and even after the others had been reprimanded that not all other boys were like them, Hallow was different, he felt ashamed of his love for flowers and feeling as fragile as the girls. It wasn't until he was given his job did he truly embrace his knowledge of flowers and herbs. And it wasn't until he left his clan that he learned to embrace that yes, sometimes he felt like a girl, and that's alright. He smiled softly, remembering how his old leader had smiled up at him, a wise Fae, and told Hallow that he believed the job suited him perfectly, and that he shouldn't feel ashamed that sometimes he wanted to just be with the female dragons and not be laughed at. Hallow had never been happier. His time there was amazing after that, despite the odd comment about how he needed to be a man, not a woman. When the old Fae was passing, however, he told Hallow he wanted him to go on a journey, to learn more and to travel. Hallow had been torn, but obeyed his last dying wish, giving tearful goodbyes to his clan before leaving. Months later, he found Yan, Stefan, and Darrell. The Pearlcatcher shook his head, the memories becoming too much. He peeked into his sling, saw the amount of herbs he had, and set off back towards camp, towards where he knew Aeronwen was waiting to make him feel pretty. Where dragons would call him Hallow and respect whatever pronouns he had them call him until he told them otherwise.
