The Firey Fortuneteller

Once upon a time, after the war between The Agni Clan and The Anahita Clan. A dragon named Jara was searching the grounds of the battle. She came across some gold, some weapons, and all kinds of stuff left behind, but one thing she found was shocking to her.

She came across an unhatched egg seemingly left behind by The Agni Clan.

She figured the hatchling didn’t make it, as how could anything survive in the middle of that battle. But just before she was going to leave it, it moved.

She took the egg home in the bag she carried on her waist, astonished that the hatchling inside was alive.

After about an hour, she arrived to her home. It was a small cabin on the rocks near the shore, as that was all she could afford. Her dream was to own her own clan one day, but that was just a dream then.

She cared for the hatchling egg for weeks, but with no progress. Just before she lost hope, the egg began to hatch. Jara was ecstatic to see the hatchling was safe and alive.

After the egg hatched, Jara was stunned by the hatchling inside.

The eyes of the hatchling were ablaze. Jara couldn’t believe what she was seeing. At first she thought it was in danger, but the hatchling seemed just fine. Then she remembered the legend her father read to her,


One day, an egg will appear on the first day of Flameforger’s in a grief-stricken land, with a hatchling inside who’s eyes were ablaze with great power. This hatchling will use its power to bless the world.


She never believed it before, but now she can see it was always true as the hatchling inside was a beautiful Pearlcatcher with blazing eyes. She pondered giving the hatchling away to her village adoption center, but she worried that she wouldn’t grow up happy with people who might fear her.

She became truly attached to the hatchling, so she decided she would take care of her in secret so she would grow up peacefully.

She ended up naming the young dragon Firestorm.



Years Later.

Jara decided that Firestorm was of age now, and with her permission, told the village about her.

The village was weary about her at first, worried she was going to hurt them. but felt calm after hearing Firestorm’s soft, sweet voice. Firestorm spoke to the villagers about her power, and the village fell silent in disbelief. They figured she couldn’t be telling the truth, right?

She then demonstrated her power of future sight to them, shocking them all.

Firestorm ended up getting a job as a Fortuneteller at Lothlorien’s Castle, and offered her services for a small fee so she could help her mother pay for a new home.

After a long while, Firestorm helped Jara afford her dream, a large home she could start her own clan in.

Firestorm settled down as the first member of her mothers new clan, The Rekishi.

She co-runs the high council.

She loves candy, like skittles and jolly ranchers.

Her favorite food is Ramen (extra spicy.)

She can see 1 month into her chosen subjects future.

Her flames grow larger if she is angry.

She greatly loves crystals and gems.

Her powers work further when she looks into a fire after choosing her subject.

Jara helped teach Firestorm how to use her abilities.
