Once a Blood Saint, Adeline joined the Research Hall experiments as a patient, hoping to find purpose to her life. Headstrong and stubborn through her pursuit for greatness, she endured unspeakable procedures to attempt elevating her consciousness closer to the gods. Her days as a Saint had left her with a broken sense of self worth, and even Lady Maria, as beloved to her as she was, could not stop her from persevering no matter the cost and could only offer her the comfort of the lumenflower gardens. When the Great One Kos placed her curse upon the church and took pity of the patients, victims of their madness as much as she had been, Adeline then found herself transported to the dream realms along with the Research Hall. After years, or perhaps centuries of a timeless torture, her tragedy had come to an end. She ascended in front of our very eyes, coming in contact with the Great One watching over her, mother Kos, and as her consciousness slowly faded, was thus granted the brand of Milkweed, rune of all Lumenwood, gardens of the gods.
