Caelen

Caelen opened his sleepy eyes and took a big breath of cold air in. He was at home, in a snowy forest near glacier.

Today would be a big day for him, he would do something he has been gathering courage for a long time. He would say hello to Nirernil. He’s been avoiding confronting her since the last time they spoke Caelen froze totally. He couldn’t get a word out of his mouth when he noticed how beautiful eyes Nirernil had, and how bright the deep green vein was in her face. She was perfect, at least for him.

Caelen wandered in the forest where he knew the sunrise will show, and so will Nirernil. He waited nervously and watched the first rays of sunshine coming up from the horizon.
‘Hello Caelen, glad to see someone else is also admiring the sunrise’ Caelen heard a voice from behind. It was Nirernils. This was his moment to speak up and hopefully get to know each other.
‘G-good morning’ Caelen said nervously and watched as she came next to him.

The sun started to rise and Caelen noticed how beautifully Nirernils skin was glowing. ‘Beautiful morning, isn’t it?’ Caelen got these words out of his mouth with a smile. Nirernil answered ‘Yeah it is. I love the sun, it has always given me hope, even when I was really sick. ’ Caelen asked how she got sick and how she got better and they talked together all morning until they had to get some food.
Shy Caelen did it, he spoke to Nirernil successfully and broke the ice between them.
