Confectioners probably aren't what comes to mind when you think of a Plague dragon with a job, and yet here Maya is. It's a small niche she's carved out for herself, but with her kind, bubbly personality, perhaps not as unexpected as it could have been.

One of many dragons in the Rotmarrow Clan to take advantage of Jansen's links to roaming Mirror Packs, Maya specifically requests plants and insects to incorporate into her candies. Surprisingly, Jansen actually makes an effort to get the items she asks for, and ensures that they're relatively undamaged and of good quality. Speculation ranges from him simply wanting the extra burst of energy from the sugar to him being sweet on her and wanting to stay in her good graces. Whatever the case, she seems wholly oblivious to the fact that Jansen treats her better than any other Clanmate he isn't related to.

Maya is probably the biggest money-maker in the Clan despite the worries about food originating from Plague territory. Some of her more popular treats include blue rose hard candy, sugarmelon taffy, and honeycrisp apple truffles.
