"Angry, hostile, fiery and monstrous, Ice Bloom was born from a cursed linage. His mother is more beast then dragon, a wicked thing that sucks the soul out of her mates until they are nothing but automations. Her putrid cold magic infects her child too, rendering them soulless beast who will feel nothing but the Frost, the FOG and the Empty. Of corse, everything can be fixed, even people.
For Ice Bloom, that solution was carved in fire and blood. He was found haunted and cracked by the ice flows. Obmorozheniye Labs took him, an began to purge the infection from his body, whether he liked it or not. They took him into their machines, studying his body. They discovered the nature of the Frost, and all the horrors it caused, and how he needed to be saved."
