Oasis

Adopted into Clan Devium Animarum young, Oasis ignored the warnings about the other hatchling in the clan at the time, warnings about her ill parentage, and became Cata's closest, and really; only; friend. While grumpy at first about the persistent skydancer, the obelisk never chased her away, and Oasis became like her namesake to Cata; somewhere safe she could retreat to for safety and shelter; though it meant that not everyone trusted Oasis, something the skydancer pushed off as them being unjustifiably judgemental. Quiet around others, and even around her friend, Oasis is a largely calm dragon; caring and welcoming to anyone that will behave.

Finding the unfiltered sun harsh on both her ground-like scales and her eyes, Oasis turned to a tried and true method of avoiding over exposure to the sun, dressing herself in light and loose layers; unintentionally giving off an impression of some sort of mystical power or role, though she didn't complain about the attention being taken off of her friend as others tried to ask her for wisdom. Cata quickly turned into something of a guard for her, someone who could chase off anyone that unsettled either of the two by looks alone.
