______ As compared to his large, dark, scowling, and scarred Guardian companion, the pleasantly smiling, fluffy, rainbow, Coatl was often underestimated.

______ Seemingly amicable and always up for a good laugh, outsiders would call him the cinnamon-roll of the clan (this was true only of outsiders). Those who were part of the Order tell a different story.

______ They tell of the prank war that was initiated by a bold shadow dragon, truly Itzal should have stayed tangled in the woods. Who knew the fluffy rainbow could be so cruel and vicious?

______ (Darke did, she had fought and trained alongside him since the very beginning, all the others who did battle alongside him had packed up and moved on (if you could handle Feste in the Coli, well... nothing short of an Emperor could make them balk(and sometimes not even that.)))

______ They tell that his fanciful friendly fluffy facade, was not always a facade, he had loved and loved, some say, too deeply. She made him happy, she was the light of his life.

______ (But he was not the light of hers.)

______ One day he came back (without Her)

______ He came back (but not really)

______ His feathers had faded from vibrant colors to nothing more than a pale imitation of their former glory.

______ Again and again she hauled him back (each time he was a little less Angry and a little less sad)

______ She was gone and he…...he accepted that. She was never coming back.

______ (He was a terrible friend, Darke had always, always been there for him (Darke his friend, his partner (the one he failed) his savior) he would live for Darke (he knew he would never love again (not the way he had loved Her) but he could (and did (in a way)) love Darke)

______ His plumage began to regain color. He began to smile once more (but any dragon who knew him could tell his smile (a little bit too sharp) did not reach his eyes).

______ Any member of the Order could tell you not to judge their cheerful fluffy rainbow coatl.

______ (Because not everything is as it seems)
