Field Division | Warrior | Reckless
she/her | cishet

___plaguev2.png
Leaving a trail of blood and foul-smelling fluids wherever she goes, Malady is as revolting as she is terrifying in combat. Skinless, her exposed tissue and musculature reeks of pestilence as she constant bleeds, forming a bright red coating of her own ichor. Unlike her brother, however, the blood that covers her body is always fresh and a bright crimson, as her constant activity and combat training requires her to replace it much more frequently. Malady believes in the natural state of the world - of life and death, cycling and fighting against one another forever. As such, she fully agrees with Emperor's Bane's mission to destroy Emperors, and highly looks up to her Field Leader and Guildmaster, Vultur. Malady pushes herself to extreme extents, obsessed with testing herself against even the most fearsome of odds..

Along with her brother, Malady grew up as an outcast, separated from a family who the mere thought up makes bile rise to her throat. This is what drove her to fight in Plaguebringer's favor, wanting to help spread the truth of Plague and dismantle those with false views. After years as a warrior in her deity's forces, her regimen received a message from Emperor's Bane, offering positions to their troops in the Field Division. Malady was happy to take the position, loving the idea of challenging herself against an Emperor - if she could survive, she surely was a true child of the Plague. She's overly eager to throw herself into combat, and often rushes into dangerous situations. Malady is glad to have her brother with her once more, but thinks him hypocritical for being concerned if she lives or dies - the fight for survival was the core of what it meant to serve under Plaguebringer, after all.

NYCTOPHOBIA______
Vultur's affair with Phobi is a manipulative arms race. Both are convinced of their power over the other. It's unlikely that they hold any real affection towards eachother.

OAMLLYA______
Vultur's loyal and trusted scout, always perched atop her shoulder. She turns a blind eye to his immoral doings as long as the Guild prospers.

ARROWHEAD____
Vultur's protégé and personal attendant. Taken in as a hatchling, the stunted Imperial does any and all things the Mirror commands.

FAMILIAR__________________________________________
Vultur's favored familiar is a Flesh Forager. Vultur has gone though several birds in her time as Guildmaster of Emperor's Bane, the current of which being named Carrion. Her packs used to raise the raptors to assist in hunting and sending messages, a tradition that Vultur alone maintains. She buys the trained familiars from a respectable falconer settled on Rotrock Rim, taking the journey herself on foot. Carrion is extremely well-trained, able to follow his dragon's complex orders to assist with Field Division work - and also has no qualms with attacking on command. As Vultur directs her troops on the ground, Carrion circles above her, giving the Mirror an extra set of eagle-eyes.
