B A C K G R O U N D
Meshtenae (Mesh-ten-ee) is a blind singer who is a student of many draconic oral traditions. Where his eyes fail, his ears thrive, and he has perfect pitch. His favorite songs and tales to regale audiences with are the ancient stories that dragons and Beastclans have based their faiths on.

Meshtenae’s blindness, present since he hatched, barely holds him back. He is typically a joyous and ambitious dragon, preferring to make the best of bad situations and to see things in a positive light. Singing is his pride and joy. Sometimes, when he runs out of ideas of songs to sing, he’ll ask the other dragons in Oovalia for ideas. He also likes to talk to Larona, Pura, and Yenorh about various legends and myths.

They say there’s not one spark of awkwardness when it comes to Meshtenae and Hailerne—and it’s true. The Nocturne and the Fae have been inseparable since they discovered their shared interest in performing and entertaining. Their voices blend together nicely, and their dances have no trips or hiccups. Meshtenae loves what he does, and he loves it even more now that Hailerne is by his side.
