Biography
Need:
- Acquired! Gifted by @VolcanicThunder
Disease. What a foul name. A foul name for a foul, useless dragon.
The young mirror thought this every time he heard someone say it.
Youngest of five, last to hatch, nothing special about him.
He was a waste of space, another mouth to feed.
His parents named him what they thought he was.
A curse, a problem, an infection that they did not need.
Disease was always last. Last picked, last fed, and last to get any affection from his family. Well, he assumed he was last, as he hadn’t gotten any yet.
He wasn’t sure he wanted it, at this point.
He knew he didn’t deserve it.
He was useless, and ordinary, common in every way.
It wasn’t really a surprise the day his parents put him up for sale.
It still hurt, but Disease has been expecting it honestly.
When they left him at the auction house, he had turned to his father, hoping for just one word of encouragement, or a look that said “we’ll miss you son”.
Instead, he had looked into his fathers eyes as he said “Have fun being someone else’s problem” and walked out the door.
He hadn’t looked back.
Disease vowed that day to never look back either.
