It came... I wrote... it's a painfully rough idea
Chomper brought her home after finding her in a bottle of molasses. She stuck to Chomper for some time after he returned to the caravan (literally, the sticky molasses she was coated in caused her to constantly get stuck to him). Others in the circus tried to raise her, but she continually returned to Chomper. After a time he grew tired of trying to give her to others and he just took her in.

Thankfully, the rest of the circus did help him raise this little one (I still don't know her name), so she's not as socially awkward as her father. In fact, she is often times helping him interact with others, she also helps her dad with his lessons in reading and writing. He insisted that she attend school, to do what he could not growing up.

Chomper has nicknamed her, Birdie
