Background: There is not much known about her youth. She doesn’t like to talk about it. What she does like to talk about is her education. She learned to be a goldsmith somewhere overseas. And after that she went searching for a place where she would be welcome and be able to put her education to good use. After showing some proof of her craftmanship she was invited to come and be part of the crafting community in the clan. Character: Muire is confident, enthousiastic, open and inventive. Something she does not handle well is to be put under pressure. She knows best how much time she needs to make something and when someone pushes her to hurry up she can get agitated and a lot less friendly. Art takes time and Muire will take all the time she needs to produce her best work. Occupations: While mainly a goldsmith, Muire also likes to work with other precious metals or to combine various materials. She knows how to make beautiful silverware, platters, goblets, decorative utensils, you name it. She has accumulated a wide array of skills and tools, everything she needs to pursue her craft and then some. Family and friends: The moment Muire arrived in the clan she looked for the clanmembers whose crafts would compliment her own. She found Akira, the jeweller and Alanig the golddigger. They immediately got along as they discussed how to they could work together without getting in each other’s way. Nowadays they have their own little unofficial guild that enjoys a cup of tea and a biscuit together in their spare time. Muire’s mate is Conleth, who insists it was love at first sight for the two of them. Muire just lets him spin that tale. She loves him dearly and couldn’t be happier when her children Kirwyn and Ethne hatched to complete their little family. |
