Poison: Quizzle's Decay

Effect: Named after the guardian dragon who first mixed it, Quizzle's Decay is a nasty brew that causes a dragon's scales to fade in color and become incredibly brittle. If exposed to the poison long-term, even a gust of wind could cause scales to flake apart. Most often the poison is applied topically, where it will seep through and infect the bloodstream. It has a nasty taste, making it hard to slip into another dragons drink undetected. It will stay in the system for up to a week per administration, depending on potency. It's effects last months if not properly cured and treated.

Remedy: At first sign of fading scales, it is best to seek out a Potion of Gargan's Strong Hide. This potion is to be taken twice daily until all affected scales have either returned to standard color, or have shed and since been replaced with new healthy scales. Be sure to speak with an alchemist about any potential ingredient allergies, and they can surely brew an alternative remedy.
