The warm scent of spices drifted upwards in the steam arising from a platter crowded with cups and mugs. A Wildclaw with scales of burnished copper and rust carried the platter high, offering beverages to each of the Hearth's guests. These were the first scents that wafted towards the great Star Scryer, Pieskos, and as it listened to the stories of the Hearth, it wove these smells and the tales of the drinks they represented together into beings that leapt to life from the scryer's flames.

They were embodiments of teas, and as such, each of the new beings seemed to emit the scent of the beverage they represented. They also appeared capable of reading fortunes in the tea leaves left behind by the Hearth's guests. It was said not to leave an empty cup in their presence, as whatever predilection the siblings whispered would come to pass. It was unclear at times whether the beings simply read a pre-determined fate from the discarded leaves, or if their prophecies were akin to curses that they wished upon those careless enough to leave their cups behind. Perhaps, it was a bit of both.

Over time, the new beings ventured from the Hearth to explore the world beyond the Cathedral of Eyes. They sought new lands to call their home; forever seeking those empty cups and stray tea leaves that spoke to them of the future.

  • Surprisingly tame Barghest
  • Kept at bay by a few of the Grand Scholars
  • Managed to figure out how to teach others about reading tea leaves
  • Predicted he would venture out with Raphael to find the ones who ran off to Remnant
  • Became a Kitsune while there
  • Returned with his 6 tails and a newfound reading on the return journey
  • Works alongside a spectral pearlcatcher to teach the Divination track
  • Uses his wisps as a foxfire to boil tea for classes
  • One of the few Barghests allowed to actually dwell within the Divided Spire
  • Honestly just a happy pupper who likes teaching his students and scaring everyone with a tea reading
  • Has successfully predicted attacks from other Barghests
  • A happy tea loving vibing boi that bonded with a Limbo pair over a love for tea
  • Students don't fully trust him, but they're alright with him in the end
  • Just tend to hide behind their books (or familiars) when he predicts something himself
  • Usually uses his own tea as examples in class, just in case it's bad
  • Uses the spectral pearlcatcher to read others for him so he doesn't ensure something happens
  • Still happens anyways and is 100% convinced he's cursed more than just as a Barghest
  • Foxfire with six tails and light eyes
