Oilslick, born in the Light territory, she was a scholar and studied the cultures of other Flights. Eventually, she decided to set out to further learn about them. In her explorations, she got sick in the Earth territory and crashed in a small cave on the coast between the Nature and Earth territories. A crew of seafaring Earth flight folks spotted her feverish, half-dead and curled up.

They took her back to their clan to recover. She had to stay with them on a small island right off the coast for a few weeks, slowly picking up small jobs around the camp to repay the debt she was convinced she had to pay back. Many dragons in the clan realized she was good with hatchlings and the sick, so they offered her a permanent place in the clan to care for the eggs and raise the hatchlings when their parents were busy.

Now, she's a well-liked, kind, calm, and knowledgeable figure. Many dragons come to her when they're having troubles, and she always provides.
