It was the first morning of Warrior Way when Blodreina urgently sent her servants to neighboring clans. They had the task of finding a very specific hatchling by all means necessary. The Queen had trained many fighters in recent years but she needed a special one for such an event.

Her dragons returned empty handed and exhausted from the search. In a fit of rage she threatened to exalt them from the clan if they return without a hatchling again. They flew even farther from Sunbeam Ruins in their search.

Most dragons were given a little amount of treasure to pay for hatchies. The foreign clans refused such a weak trade which left them no choice but to kidnap the babies instead.

By the end of the day Blodreina had a batch of potential fighters presented to her. She knew only one could be her warrior so she took her time in examining each hatchling.

One male stood out among the others. And it wasn’t because of strength or bravery, he was in fact cowering down below the wildclaw. The Queen had never seen a dragon like him before. The big feet and mane unfamiliar to her.

Glaucus had found him with his nest mates along the edge of Windswept Plateau. The poor hatchling wondered a bit too close to the edge and ended up barreling toward the sea below. Glaucus dove in to save him from drowning and brought him to his Queen. His home clan completely oblivious to the event.

After little thought, Blodreina ordered that the other hatchlings be returned to their clans. She had chosen her warrior.
