I have been welcomed into this new clan by Matriarch Moonrun and First Consort WitCloud. It has been challenging getting used to being often surrounded by green and brown - rather than the open airy spaces of the windswept Plateau and Cloudsong. This is not to say there are none who appreciate flight. A truly shocking number of flocks of birds as colorful as the flowers here are to be found nearly everywhere. In fact one in particular, Lyric, a ruby throated hummingbird seems to have taken a liking to the fact that the songs I know are not the ones she is familiar with. I hadn't realized that apparently some hummingbirds do care to learn new songs. I am enjoying my training in the Coliseum, although after each battle, some opponents are more gracious than others. In particular, the centaurs seem quite rude. I think it would be less obvious if they realized that I do speak their dialect. Lets just say I have an appreciation for Moonrun's preference to keep some of the younger hatchlings away from some of the more unsavory elements there.
NOTE: After receipt of this letter, Kensho's father Dazzle, who was considering Exalting, decided rather to come and join his son in this new clan.
