Faye

A headstrong, hardworking Fae, who refuses to sit around and wait for others. She doesn't pick up on social cues very well, and has trouble giving herself downtime to try fun activities with the others.

Faye grew up in a small pack, who sourced their food from the land around their home. She learned to grow plants, how to hunt, and how to forage. She helped her brother pick out bugs for their dinners, and helped her parents promote their store.

Faye was content with her place among her folks, but they sensed she had more in her. They urged her to part from them, promising they'll be right where they've always been if she ever wants to come back. And making her promise to visit too!

She had no clue what to do on her own. She traveled around, trying out new things, seeing new places. She met another Fae, Bits, one day at a festival. They talked most of the night, and when they hung out after the festivities, Bits explained his goal, his dream to her. Why he was here. She was inspired by it, to say the least.

She asked to join him on his quest, knowing this may be her only chance to find the purpose her family sent her out for. He agreed happily, and together they continued on their way.

Along their journey, they met three others. A serene elder Gaoler, Paimon. A sarcastic, energetic Skydancer, Dellin. And a levelheaded, stubborn Ridgeback, Gwennan. They fit as a group oddly well together, and not so long after Gwennan made her place in their team, did a feeling start swelling in her chest.

When she looked at them, her friends, she felt.. happy. A contentness unlike any other she's felt before. It was like she was with her family again. Safe and secure and loved. She doesn't want this feeling to go away.

The eventually end their journey when they enter the Zephyr Steppes. A simple place, but quiet, and cool. A large change of pace from her home land.
She watched over the clan affairs as the clan grew. She kept things orderly when Paimon and Bits stepped down from their leadership roles.

Bits' confession lead to her realizing her feelings towards him was different. And the dates he takes her on, the shows of affection make her feel giddy in a way she doesn't want to end.

She loves this.

Every now and then, she feels that happy, content feeling again, looking out on her new homes.
Every now and then, she feels immensely thankful that her family decided for her that she needed to leave, to make her own life.

She wouldn't trade what she has for the world.
