On a cool night in the summer a small velispun hatcling had lost its way, flying through the darkness unable to see through the darkness, it had wandered far from its home in wispwillow grove and ended up out in the ocean only half way to Flotsam Town.

The little velispun had grown far to weary, unable to fly for another second the little one plunged into the depths with the water engulphing him and his black color blending in with the rest of the night it had remained un found within the waves and drowned but the tidelord pityed him So he was scooped up by a group of sardines and carried the rest of the way to flotsam town where a lady bogsneak found him "Oh my..poor little soul lost to the depths.." she scooped him up gently in her mouth like a mother crocodile picked up its young, then she travled home As she walked however his black slowly turned to deep blue hues with the tides reflected in his mane and wings.

After Lakeside lapiz had set him down she was bewildered to him suddenly breathing again, hopping up onto his feet with the salty sea water still dripping off of him,Uttering a pathetic cry and the word "Mama!" once his purple eyes met her blue. Thats when she decided it was going to be that way She would raise the little one with her mate Syrolin, treating him as their own child His adopted father Syrolin dubbed him "Deep sea" because of the fact he had sunken to the depths and drowned only to come alive agian with the change of the tide.
