Guildmaster | Guild Founder | Field Leader
she/her | lesbian

___plaguev2.png
The fearsome and respected Guildmaster of Emperor's Bane. Vultur commands her Guild with a militaristic, war-wrought fist. As the organization's founder, she's the most experienced in combat out of the Guild's members, and views life through a cold and stony lens. Vultur is extremely dedicated to the Plaguebringer - knowing her deity can't bear the thought of Emperors existing, she's taken up arms to exterminate them herself. However, her righteous quest may not be spurred by the most heroic of intentions, as a vitriolic anger burns behind this Mirror's eyes, the likes of which frighten even the largest dragons. Her relationship with her Guild members is extremely professional, and she expects nothing less than diligent, hard work. Vultur has final say on who joins the ranks of Emperor's Bane, and often sends scouts out to recruit dragons of interest. Emperor's Bane pays no mind to one's past - only to one's possible future among its ranks.

Born in the arid wastes of Plaguebringer's lands, Vultur grew familiar with the many intermingling packs of Mirrors who also inhabited the area. They were family to her, and she enjoyed the times they'd join together to bring down large hunts or to hold celebrations and festivals. Vultur even traveled outside of the Wastelands to travel Sornieth, planning on bringing back treasures and trinkets for her packs - but she returned home to a massacre. An Emperor had arisen from the Boneyard and laid waste to the Mirror clans, leaving not a soul behind. Standing amongst the carnage, Vultur was overcome with a venomous fury, vowing to eradicate Emperors from the face of Sornieth. She then went to establish her Guild - Emperor's Bane. Beginning with only a small group of hired mercenaries and other dragons who'd lost their homes to recent Emperor activity, Vultur established herself as an intimidating and driven leader, her ambition and dedication to her cause quickly drawing attention from across Sornieth. Vultur's belief in her clan's mission overrides all else, and she'll sacrifice everything - and anything - to reach it.

NYCTOPHOBIA______
Vultur's affair with Phobi is a manipulative arms race. Both are convinced of their power over the other. It's unlikely that they hold any real affection towards eachother.

OAMLLYA______
Vultur's loyal and trusted scout, always perched atop her shoulder. She turns a blind eye to his immoral doings as long as the Guild prospers.

ARROWHEAD____
Vultur's protégé and personal attendant. Taken in as a hatchling, the stunted Imperial does any and all things the Mirror commands.

FAMILIAR__________________________________________
Vultur's favored familiar is a Flesh Forager. Vultur has gone though several birds in her time as Guildmaster of Emperor's Bane, the current of which being named Carrion. Her packs used to raise the raptors to assist in hunting and sending messages, a tradition that Vultur alone maintains. She buys the trained familiars from a respectable falconer settled on Rotrock Rim, taking the journey herself on foot. Carrion is extremely well-trained, able to follow his dragon's complex orders to assist with Field Division work - and also has no qualms with attacking on command. As Vultur directs her troops on the ground, Carrion circles above her, giving the Mirror an extra set of eagle-eyes.

______ Tolomineus and Lomanses, commonly referred to collectively as "Tollom", work together as part of Emperor's Bane's Research Division, investigating and analyzing Emperor corpses in the lab. Tolomineus, regarded at the spokesperson for the Aberration's body, is a meticulous and dry-humored dragon who wants nothing more than to continue his work without disruptions. Prone to making dark jokes while carving through flesh with a scalpel, he can be described as an "acquired taste". Lomanses, on the other talon, is much less talkative than their body companion, often only saying a few words a day when needed. Some dragons think of them as having an empty head, but in fact their thoughts constantly swirl behind their eyes like a hurricane. Lomanses uses writing as an outlet, detailing paper after paper on they and Tolomineus' observations and hypotheses.

______ Arriving at the Guild after being scouted out for their educational prowess, Tollom quickly proved themselves a reliable asset. Able to conduct twice the amount of research than the typical dragon in the same amount of time, they're highly respected and valued among the Research Division. Epidym often tries to collaborate with them on research papers, and whereas Tolomineus rolls his eyes and disregards the Obelisk, Lomanses has shown to be quite interested. The two often work alongside each other, with the older scholar always amazed at Lomanses' inquisitive mind and skill with a pen. Tolomineus isn't bothered by this - but Sinew of the Disposal Division frequently gets on his nerves due to their habit of bringing back picked-apart and mutilated field samples - how is he supposed to work with that? Tolomineus denies any kind of closer relationship between Sinew and himself, and ignores the fact that smaller versions of himself are constantly cropping up and running around causing trouble.
