But many of them aren't. I was lucky enough to be freed, and the simulation quite literally is just that, a simulation of the real world. There is some happiness to be found in the real world, but much of it is full of pain. It's no paradise, especially when it's all a lie. I'm not sure there is much to be done about it, either. Unless you're equipped to handle thousands upon thousands of drones from all sides, you're better off hiding and praying the hive never finds you.

She's not even the worst of them. She's only a small part of the iceberg that is the hivemind. But one thing is certain: MOTHER does not know what's best for you.
