Dampe wandered away from her home clan as a hatchling and up the stairs into the Light. Blinded by the brightness of the Sunbeam ruins She stumbled around until little Hal saw her and dragged her home to Tas and Dayz. He let her hide in his shadow as she became used to the light and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Want to revisit the days of old. Prefer to be left to themselves, but are always willing to lend a hand or two to fellow clanmates. Protective of daughter Faith.

"I just wish she could stop this nonsense and be happy with who she is. There are more important things in life than looking good," Dampe laments dropping her sorting once more to run claws through her fluff.
Veracity hums in acknowledgement, and hands back the piece Dampe was holding for her.
"I just thought she'd grow out of it," Dampe sighs.
"She's still the youngest in the Legacy, and you know how Tasma and Dayz dote on her," Veracity sighs as she continues itemizing the latest loot drop.
Dampe frowns at the mention of her inlaws' spoiling. While she used to get all of it she knows that they've always had a soft spot for the guardians over anyone else. "I was hoping Faith's work ethic at least would rub off on her. Lord knows it did on Kay, the boy tries so hard. I just don't understand her obsession with looking so good. Why on earth does she need so many things."
"I mean look at Scallywag, she and Rapsy are constantly digging through the hoard for new finds," Ver tuts. "You should see their sign out sheets. We're just lucky they can only have a limited number of items on them at any one time."
Dampe laughs, "I suppose you're right. Maybe this will all just work itself out."
The two return to sorting as Dampe puts thought of it from her mind.
