Comet is the firstborn daughter of the clan's chief Silver and her mate Swiftfang. Silver is training her to become the next chief.

Brina and Ato ran away from their original herd when she was still small. She was raised by Ato and the dragons of the Southern Outpost. She and Comet met each other when they were still very young and they have remained friends ever since.

She now lives with the small centaur herd that has formed at the Southern Outpost. She is a outlier in the group. She is quite relaxed by nature and doesn't always comply with the traditions of her born culture. The others say that this is due to the dragons having too much of an influence on her and a this is causing quite a bit of tension within the herd.
