Penem

Penem was, and is, the first born son of Achiel and Kasdiel. He is regarded as the "Prince" of the Clan and is further considered second in command beside his parents. Though he rarely chooses to sit in charge over any in the Clan, preferring, rather, to help his father in gathering expeditions and his sibling, Camue, in her studies.

Growing up under the Flamcaller with his Clan in the Ashfall Wastes taught him his courage and strength, but these attributes came from the hardships of living in a firey wasteland. During his youth Penem had seen many come and go, both strangers to him and his Clan, as well as those who were his own flesh and blood. Many traveled to distant locations in search of their own life, others had been exalted to further serve the Flamcaller. A choice, at the time, Penem thought was the only correct route.

Despite his difficulties as a young dragon, Penem holds himself and his Clan in high respect. When Achiel is away Penem acts as the primary defense of the Clan, also helping to train and better members of his Clan in the same ways they have bettered him.
