Boreas is the only child of Tonks and Ambarclaw's third nest to stay.

While his siblings carry out their own studies Boreas is busy keeping a written record of the clan's activities and making detail notes about the clan's history. He has a day by day journal detailing the events of the day and highlighting important events in another journal. Some of the events that he includes in his important events journal are when hatchlings are born, new members own the clan, and when members leave the clan for either different clans or to join the Arcanist. He has stopped adding the explosions to the important event journal but did make a note of that saying that, “Explosions do not seem like something that should become a nearly daily event in the lair but it has. We've had the labs moved a bit further away from the lair so that we don't destroy our home.” Boreas keeps his writings as neutral as he can.
