Lava Faction Leader

Before the Clan

Blaze used to live with her parents and younger sister, Fireheart. Their former home in Lightweaver's domain was not the greatest it could have been. Their parents had to work constantly, and were so busy that Blaze ended up raising her younger siblings when her older siblings left, unable to handle the more rambunctious hatchlings the older they got, and the more unwilling they were to stay.

She was so mad when her parents began to go out for even longer amounts of time, and with her last older brother unable to take the pressure any longer, raising and keeping track of 7 younger siblings alone with 4 more on the way was tough. When she finally got their parent's attention, she realized they barely even knew her name- mistaking her for an older sister that had left 4 years prior. She screamed at them, having had enough of them herself. They stood stock still as Blaze ranted on about their neglect for years, how she knew her time to be the sole caretaker of her siblings was going to be coming, and how she hated them for ever making their siblings choose between running away in the dead of night or saying goodbye.

They finally began to spend more time with their own dragonets, and Blaze was able to relax for the first time since she was her youngest sister, Fireheart's age. Blaze only left when she was certain none of her other siblings would have to face the horror of caretaking for their younger siblings, and found it was way harder of a choice to do than she had thought. Her elder siblings choices to leave always seemed so... easy. But upon being faced with the tears and cries of her siblings, she almost found it was way easier to stay there. But, in the end, she left for a new home. Though, she had thought and hoped alone.

Fireheart had managed to follow Blaze from their former home, and while Blaze did message and try to make Fireheart stay at home, Fireheart was adamant enough that her home was with Blaze, that Blaze just couldn't bear to not have her sister with her. At least she would be able to keep her safe this way, instead of having her run off alone with no goal in mind.

Clan Life

When they first arrived at the territory they had originally planned on just walking through, they met Ember. Ember was kind to them, if a bit excited to meet someone new. After staying with the trio for a while, they found they didn't want to leave their new friends, and eventually Coral suggested that Blaze and Fireheart could stay and help their cause of protecting the land. Blaze agreed, and helped build the first houses of the future Lava Faction by the pools of lava on the edge of the valley. The mountainous views and higher areas to build keeping them safe from any chance of them being burned down unintentionally by the lava.

Becoming a leader was not what Blaze had in mind when more and more dragons began to come to the Clan. She had just meant to greet and happily accept anyone new Ember, Coral, and rarely DaFlameDFZ allowed to stay. She made new houses and welcomed anyone who wanted to join into the clan as a friend. Soon, the Lava Faction had it's name and she was unanimously voted as their representative and leader when the other Faction's help was needed.

Blaze is a good leader for them though, and any issues tend to be quelled with the prowess of her from years of looking after her younger siblings and stopping any fights that had managed to break out between them. Her friends in Ember, Coral, Strike, and Terra helping her along the way with smaller issues she had no idea how to deal with.

When she found Everfree and Fie alone on a rare solo wandering to clear her thoughts, she had immediately taken them to Strike when she learned they had been abandoned. She knew he had plenty of experience dealing with abandoned hatchlings, and while she knew how to handle neglectful parent, she was not equipped to handle any potential fallout of that. And, while the sisters hadn't taken the news well, Fireheart had managed to calm the two down and get them to see the Clan and showed them some of the area's around. Blaze was happy the two stayed with Strike, and went on with her life. Unaware that she had been adopted by the two the second they had adopted Fireheart as their sister.
