For Aurora, there is NO SUCH THING as too many hatchlings, and having a permanent mate seems so confining. There are so many pretty guys out there who could give her beautiful hatchlings, and that way you don't have to deal with any feelings or nonsense like that.
Aurora's love of hatchlings often puts her at odds with Villette. Their shouting matches after the motherly guardian drags home yet another little one draw all the clan to watch in slightly terrified wonder as the two massive ladies snap (both literally and figuratively) at each other. When Aurora isn't bringing hatchlings home without permission, the two are surprisingly close and are often each other's confidantes.
Aurora literally raised half the current lair, and because of this she's one of the most loved and trusted dragons in the clan. She's been part of Darkroot nearly since the start, and every hatchling she's raised still retains a deep affection for her. An insult to her is one of the few things that can rouse the normally peaceful clan into anger... and gods all help any dragon who hurts her.
Heterosexual, aromantic.
