Xylitol

An extremely friendly alchemist! Xy is well known for his odd experiments (often relating to insects) and concocting Soylent food, which most of the clan is a little hesitant about eating. Those who have tried it (mostly Beetleguts, who’s obsessed with the stuff) claim its surprisingly edible. Xylitol himself seems to only eat Soylent products coated with a mysterious sugary substance, and he’s often found chewing on anything that can withstand it (or won’t kill him, perhaps).
For some reason he seems weirdly fond of Malt’s research, (which is really an extension of Malt herself) often enlisting Mantid’s help in bothering the Hunter’s Garden for any new findings he could show her. So far Xylitol has only been the second dragon ever to convince Malt to take a break from her work for more than a few hours at a time, Mantid being the first. His relationship with the latter is an odd one, Beetleguts seems to believe the buggy spiral is nothing to him, really, but a test subject. Malt disagrees, but can’t fully place what they really are to each other.
