Cadabracus

On the surface, Cadabracus isn't extraordinarily special. He has many eyes and an odd obsession with chandeliers to the point he wears literal actual melting candles on his back, but overall is quite unassuming. Well, that's what the casino staff thought.

Cadabracus is extremely perceptive, noting very small details others fail to realize were present to begin with. He is most notably a genius when it comes to finding flaws and loopholes in systems and constructs, making him a great help to Choir whenever she's building things, or to Eyes OfChosen plotting how best to guide the clan. It also got him banned from several gambling institutions, because no matter what the game was, he found some way to rig it in his favor.

It initially started with him paying extremely close attention to the slot machines. He sat and observed for a good while, not really standing out to anybody because the disorienting interior design of the casino demanded their attention much more than Cadabracus did. That is, until he walked up to a slot machine, and proceeded to roll a jackpot first time, winning a good hoard of gems for his clan. And then he moved to the second slot machine, and did it again. And a third and fourth time.

Of course the staff knew something fishy was happening, and escorted Cadabracus to a private room where they inspected everything he had, but he had no such device which could be used to cheat a slot machine, nor did he remove any of his metallic clothing items according to the camera system. No, he had only figured out the exact timing of the slot machines, and calculated jackpot rolls from there.

One by one, Cadabracus got banned from games in the casino after figuring out their quirks and how to game them. Eventually, he finally got banned altogether. So he simply went to a different one, and got banned from there. And this continued until every similar business in Sornieth had a blanket ban on this one particular skydancer. Despite his spree of scamming, he STILL hadn't earned enough gems to buy a Luminous Halo for Eyes, let alone to pay someone to hunt down a Light Sprite for her.
