Once a scholar revered by the Arcane flight's scientific community, Zvezda used to be the chancellor of the University of the Astrolodome. His research and numerous scientific papers were praised and read far and wide, leading the charge in technological and scientific advancement. Back in those days, as soon as he finished whatever administrative work he had to do, he would bury his nose into telescopes and scrolls, carried by his fascination with what lies beyond the atmosphere. Hiding between stars and nebulae, what he would discover would lead him to lose all the respect he once had. The idea of complex space-faring civilizations, who commanded over entire solar systems and wielded the power to wipe entire planets from existence already seemed almost blasphemous to his peers, let alone the sheer thought that one such alien entity was walking among them, disguised as a regular dragon. Yet, Zvezda would remain firm in his stance that both of those were true and ongoing. This insistence would lead to him losing his position and career, demoting him to nothing more than laughing stock for both experienced scientists and greenhorn students. All he has left from his glory days is a pitiful amount of savings he spends on a wild goose chase with an estranged prince hailing from far, far in the stars. Zvezda has gone to unfathomable lengths to locate and expose the identity of Lucien. He tracks down every possible sighting location, traveling far and wide to see him in person and gather any evidence. But the elusve exiled noble always slips through his fingers, leaving behind nothing but the sense of defeat. |
