Biography
||The Living Darkness||
The third member of the night watch is Webber, named for his uncanny look-alike nature of that of a spiders web. Smallest and indeed fastest of the guards he zips around the outside with Corvus keeping an eye on anything and everything. His dark scales means he blends in to the night sky almost perfectly save for the slight shine of his web-like wings and electric gaze. The other guards have since made him wear a bulb so what some might mistake for a shooting star the others know it is Webber.
The powers of his home flight he has used on several occasions in order to protect the lair, a sudden boom of thunder and a crack of lightning is often a used signal to show where an intruder might be and tell the other members of the watch to be ready, Corvus often comes right after to aid Webber in an attack against them as they are the two meant to prevent anyone reaching the rest of the guard. He trains regularly with familiars that hail from his home land so that he never loses touch with his abilities.
Being a Fae dragon he is often questioned as to his usefulness to the guard, but anyone who dares question the might of a Fae dragon based purely on size have their attention pushed towards the All-Mother. Webber takes great pride in his breed, often talking to the great warrior Camaka to swap fighting tips and magical knowledge. Many clans underestimate the power and ability of a Fae but this one will never foresake anyone, not on a basis of size thats for sure.
In his downtime Webber has been known to be a rather keen gardener, he has various hallows in giant trees where he keeps various plant life safe from larger beasts and dragons. Additionally the plants make for great insect habitats which in turn make for great snacks for a hungry Fae… Like a miniature circle of life. While he has more of an interest in flowers than crops he finds time to chat to August the rancher some mornings before turning in. He’s been given quite a bit of special soil to help his plants grow better. Sometimes he offers a little bit of quick pest control, and has a nibble of any bugs that might be plaguing August’s crops. They have quite a friendship going.
