▷ The LOVELETTER worm is arguably one of the most infamous E-Mail worms in history.

▷ Though it is often said to have destroyed recipients' PCs, that actually was not in the original code. It was coded to replace .vbs files with itself, and other bad actors that got their hands on the virus changed the behavior to replace critical system files, like .exes, .dlls, and .bat files.
