Biography

Ghost
The Darkwood

Ectoplasmime
Greystone Deer
Haunting Houndskull
Ghostly Aura
Emeritus was Zen's former pupil, a young bogsneak with ambitions to become a great wizard. He was a huge people-pleaser and was constantly trying to impress the imperial. Zen had high hopes for Emeritus, he saw great potential in the young bogsneak, and had a tendency to push Emeritus past his limits. Zen frequently forgets that just because he can do something, it doesn't mean that everyone can do it as easily. One time Zen asks his pupil to run an errand for him to the Darkwood. An easy task for a centuries-old powerful wizard such as himself, but a death sentence for a young magician's apprentice. Emeritus, always striving for his mentor's approval, went into those gnarled woods anyways, despite the dangers. He encountered Creature, who warned him of the dangers of the Darkwood and of Zen, but Emeritus wouldn't listen to this slander of his idol, and pressed on into the trees, where he met his grim end.
Currently, Emeritus wanders the Darkwood in bitter misery, refusing to move on from his death. He blames Zen for sending him here to die, and years of living in this state has warped his perception of reality. He now believes that Zen sent him to these woods expecting him to die, and he resents the imperial greatly.
