- parents were courrier/traders who moved around frequently
- major traveller, born in wind territory but grew up in greatwyrm's breach
- learned how to be resourceful at a young age
- difficult relationship with intimacy & trust because of familial background
- hadnt stayed in the same place for more than a week since 11 before 'settling' in the village
- deeply in love and without a clue of how to handle it
