Lioness lived a typical, content life throughout childhood, but upon coming of age and having some revelations about her identity, she decided to strike out on her own and see what else she could learn about herself. The outside world proved somewhat overwhelming but she persevered and after several months came upon Flowers and her clan. After shyly introducing herself to the older Guardian, she was soon greeted by a Tundra and Skydancer closer to her age.
Flamingo and Tigerlily's friendly natures quickly soothed the Ridgeback's nerves and they became fast friends. After a while, she noticed that her feelings for Tigerlily went beyond the friendship she felt towards Flamingo, and she asked for the Tundra's blessing to court his best friend, which he eagerly granted. Tigerlily quickly reciprocated Lioness's feelings, and they declared each other mates.
Time passed, and the two had a son, Rygar. Once he got old enough, he and his mate Mei expressed interest in becoming Coliseum fighters. Lioness agreed to help the young ones train, and they formed a formidable coli team. After some more time, two young Mirror ladies became enamored with Mei's skill and asked her to train them. Lioness and Rygar decided to step aside and let the three Mirrors become the clan's new team. Lioness is perfectly content to be retired, relaxing and spending time with her family.
