Harpy had come from a small inattentive family. So she often ventured out to investigate the clan around her. One day she stumbled upon the nesting grounds, several of which had eggs almost ready to hatch.

She was captivated when one nearby wiggled, and from that day forward she became fascinated with nesting. She studied the way the eggs wiggled, how different nests needed different temperatures. The way the shells cracked and crumbled when they were beginning to hatch.

She especially loved brooding. Cuddling over the nests with enthusiasm making sure they stayed safe and warm. She often offered to nest sit for tired couples and gleefully watched over them and kept them healthy.

Once they eggs hatched however, her interest dimmed. The Squirming little creatures that came out of the eggs were far lest interesting than the nests themselves. Relieved when the irritating creatures followed out their parents.

An Idea began to form in her head. She wanted nests of her very own. She decided yes that is exactly what she wanted. To brood on every kind of nest Sornieth had to offer.
