Buttercream

Uh-oh, looks like this baker wandered a little too far from her home lair (KingVulture, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If you ever feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the “Dragons Off To See The World” thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.

Buttercream would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been travelling long enough, just let her owner know!

Buttercream and her sister Jelly became bakers at a young age, who enjoyed working together. They decided to go their separate ways when they became adults, hoping to gain new culinary knowledge along the way and maybe even reunite someday.

During her time at the Clan of the Burning Nettle, Buttercream traded baking secrets with the blueberry-loving Zenith. Working with him in his bakery, she did her best to avoid the clan's increasingly tense politics. However, as Zenith became forced to participate in the rivalry between clan leaders, Buttercream found herself in an increasingly stressful environment. Buttercream and Zenith were forced to part for the safety of the two dragons. Butterceam now guards the sacred knowledge of Zenith's prized blueberry muffin recipe.

Buttercream stumbled upon a clan in the Shadow domain, not sure of what to expect in all honesty, prepared for anything.. She found just a really calm clan, she quickly realized this clan was a super safe space to be. It wasn't too long before she met the clans best candy maker,Kilkoma quickly the two became friends. During Buttercream's stay she set up a small cart where she sold her baked goods. Kilkoma taught her all about how to make candies, Buttercream attempted to teach Kilkoma how to bake... it didn't go very well Kilkoma seemed to ruin everything she touched in the baking world.

Though the snapper didn't care about how bad her new friend was at baking, she enjoyed learning all about the candy industry. It wasn't long before she started adding home made candies to top her cakes and cupcakes. Her and Kilkoma spent a lot of time sharing recipes, they went grocery shopping together talking about how they like to use certain ingredients for different items.

When it was time for Buttercream to say goodbye to Eria's Coven Kilkoma and her cried, both happy to have met each other, to have shared such interests and learn new things from each other. Eria's Coven all agreed she was welcome back, they hope to one day see her and her lovely baked goods again!

The Fount of Travelers was a hotspot of baked goods and sweets. It seemed like the speciality of the two hostly husbands, Axolotl and IceCream, to provide desserts for the visiting Traveling Dragons. They taught her how to make flower pastries, which ended up being an interesting experience as the flowers involved had...unique effects. Needless to say, the husbands admitted in horror that they needed to work on this recipe. Thankfully, the results were not long-lasting and no one was harmed. Still, it was a learning experience for all and it made Buttercream move on.
