Salde

Town Nightfall
Salde was born in Town Nightfall to a skydancer and spiral, making him a hybrid, though it is not noticeable as he looks very much like a spiral. He grew up with his father and learnt how to be a farmer and take care of plants and pets, but it was not a job for him. He found himself thinking about mixing those plants together and seeing what they would make instead, and was often caught daydreaming on the job. In the evenings, he would do experiments in his room, trying to create teas or potions or anything that could be useful, and then try them on things. One time when he took slime from a frog and mixed it into one of his teas hoping it would make him be able to jump/leap higher, it instead changed his complexion into a much more vibrant one. He grew up learning how to create potions and magical drinks and items through trial and error, and a few books he had stolen from the library.

But Salde felt like it wasn't enough, and there were so many things he wanted to make! There was nobody in the town to teach him about alchemy and magic, so he figured he would go travel in search of new ingredients and potions to make, and then hopefully come back to Town Nightfall and share what he had learnt. Before going on his journey, he packed a journal and pen, a few empty glass vials, some food, and some healing plants.
